Last week I received a call from a customer regarding some tar/paint on his wife’s new Audi Q5. I didn’t really know what to expect.
When they drove by to get a quote I realized this was going to take some time to clean up.
Well it definitely took some time.
Take a look.
This includes:
– Wheels were prepped with Sonax Wheel Cleaner and cleaned up with various brushes
– Tires were spritzed down with Adam’s All Purpose Cleaner and washed down
– Wheel wells were cleaned up
– Pre Washed with W99
– Decon
– Wash down and rinsed
– Door jambs were cleaned up
– Clayed
– Dried
– Tires dressed
– Last Step – 1Z einszett Glanz
– Wheel wells were cleaned and dressed
– Rubber and Plastics Treated
– Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
– Exhaust tips cleaned
– Windows were clayed, cleaned, and sealed – Wolf’s Glass Guard
Interior
– Vac
– Remove denim transfer on the seats
– Clean leather/Condition leather
– Glass
Tar/Paint Removal
– Meg’s Body Solvent
– Stoner’s Tarminator
– 3M Adhesive Remover
Before shots –
Road tar and paint on the driver’s side fender, doors, bumpers, side skirts, wheel well covers (complete left side)
We had to use a combination of Meg’s Body Solvent, Stoner’s Tarminator, and 3M Adhesive Remover. (16 oz of Body Solvent, 1 Can of Tarminator, 3 cans of 3M Adhesive Remover)
