My very own R32 Winter Prep (with einszett)
I guess this is about the only time I will be able to do my car, when its snowing out.
No clay or paint correction needed at this point, however I will do some paint correction after the winter. It will need 2 steps.
My major concern was to clean off the salt and protect the car.
What was done –
Exterior
– Wheels were prepped with P21S Wheel Gel and cleaned up with various brushes
– Tires were spritzed down with P21S Total Autowash and washed down
– Washed with ONR
– Wash down and rinsed
– Door jambs were cleaned up
– Dried
– Quick Polish for einszett Paint
– Wheels protected with einszett Spray Wax
– Protected with einszett Glanz
– Rubber and Plastics Treated
– Exterior windows and mirrors cleaned and sealed
– Exhaust tips cleaned
Interior Detail
– All interior surfaces cleaned and protected, including glass, and all
vinyl/plastic surfaces. (einszett Cockpit)
– Carpets and upholstery vacuumed.

Great work as always Phil. How do you rate Einszett polishes and waxes compared with other American brands?
einszett products are great, I believe it shows in the pics 🙂
Looks great as always Phil!!! Some questions for ya:
1. Do you apply those 1z polish and waxes with a Flex/Orbital/By Hand/etc? And you said these aren’t for correction, but for in-between? Or can these be used for correction?
2. How does the 1Z spray on wax hold up compared to a Klasse AIO(which I currently use) on the wheels?
3. What does a window polish really do for the windows? Do you recommend claying them first like the rest of the car? I have a bottle of 1z glass polish and haven’t really used it. Does it take off things like water spots?
4. Opti seal…used on the outside and inside? I’m guessing outside. All my windows, except for windshield are tinted on my cars, so does that seal the glass or what?
5. How does the 1z vinyl/rubber compare to a 303? Looking for a good rubber product to use on my tires. I like a little bit of sheen and like the look of that.
Once again…car looks great and that’s the best R32 color! And…after detailing my dads 2010 TDI Sporwagen while visiting down here in CA he may be putting in an order from you! Thanks for all the great work and products!

Here are your answers to your the best of my abilities.

I used a pc to apply the polish (green pad) glanz (black pad)
These are used for in between. Glanz is a wax/sealant so that’s your last step.
2. How does the 1Z spray on wax hold up compared to a Klasse AIO(which I currently use) on the wheels?
It works great and its easy to use, I don’t really keep my wheels dirty long the car gets cleaned up weekly/bi weekly, I don’t have to do much get them cleaned up. 🙂

Lusso Glass Polish is pretty much a glass cleaner that’s safe for tint. Yes I do clay the windows from time to time. – I would use the einszett Glass polish its a great product. Yes it can take light water spots out.

Yup I used Opti – Seal on the outside windows. It protects the glass and let’s the water bead right off.

I like the einszett products better ie – Cockpit and Deep Plastic Cleaner (interior), they leave a matte finish.
einszett rubber vinyl care is a great product for tires. (303 is great, Adam’s VRT is great)
